Nicky Gutierrez

Nicky Gutierrez has been a Phi Beta member since the Spring of 2018, when he joined the Phi Chapter at Capital University. He served as sentinel chair and Vice President. Nicky assisted the National Council with various special projects. He served as National Editor and reactivated the National Magazine, the Baton. Nicky serves as Director of Ritual, is chair of the DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) committee, and is Junior Alumni Advisor for Phi Chapter. He has a BA in Religious Studies and Creative Writing and minored in Literature and Screenwriting. Nicky earned two MA degrees at Bethany Theological Seminary: an MA with a Concentration in Theological Studies and an MA in Theopoetics and Writing. He is a theopoet, writer of haikus, lover of puns, and pilgrim.
