Rodney Butler

Rodney Butler joined Phi Beta in 2026 through Pi Epsilon Alpha, the online alumni chapter. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Tuskegee University and later an Associate Degree in Computer Animation at the Art Institute of Houston, and it was while earning his degrees that he discovered his true talent and passion for artistic expression. Rodney lives in his hometown of Houston, Texas, where he is considered one of the top 50 up-and-coming visual and sculptural artists in town. His work has been featured in galleries and museums across the country, including the Houston Museum of African American Culture's Bert Long Jr. Gallery, the Texas Southern University Museum, the National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center, and the Glassell School of Art. Despite the accolades, Rodney remains a humble servant of the art community and is always willing to share his artistic knowledge and experience with anyone ready to learn.
